This USDA food debit card is easy to get. The Catholic Charities CalFresh team will ensure that you get the money that belongs to you. CalFresh: California’s new name for the Food Stamp Program. Use CalFresh to buy fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins and more. You can qualify even if you:
• Earn money from a job.
• Get unemployment benefits.
• Get general assistance/relief.
• Get child support.
• Are part of CalWORKs.
• Get disability benefits.
• Have money in savings.
• Those receiving SSI cannot qualify for CalFresh.
Unless you are sure that you and any others in your household will not qualify, call us to find out more about potential eligibility and how to apply.
The table below does not apply to households with mixed immigration statuses or a member who is elderly or disabled. .
