Catholic Charities believes financial education is a core skill for all our clients, young and old, in their attainment of economic self-sufficiency.

New!The Tax EZ Program offers free tax preparation for amended and prior year returns for low-income families. Services will be available in English, Spanish, and Vietnamese. Call (408) 325-5220 for an appointment.

•  Individual Development Accounts (IDAs)

Individual Development Accounts help low-income people gain assets such as higher education, a small business, retirement savings, and homeownership. It’s a matched savings program that gives $2 for every $1 saved by the participant. In addition, the program provides 15 hours of money management classes to help savers reach their goals.
