Financial Education Services includes a range of programs to help low-income individuals and families develop healthy budgeting, spending and savings habits. Catholic Charities believes financial education is a core skill for all our clients, young and old, in their attainment of economic self-sufficiency.

•  Individual Development Accounts (IDAs)

Individual Development Accounts help low-income people gain assets such as higher education, a small business, retirement savings, and homeownership. It’s a matched savings program that gives $2 for every $1 saved by the participant. In addition, the program provides 15 hours of money management classes to help savers reach their goals.
