KINGS CROSSING HOUSING APARTMENTS

DESCRIPTION: Kings Crossing is an Affordable Apartment Complex. A number of the residents are the most at risk among us – children, the elderly, disabled and formerly homeless.
Through the generous support of volunteers, and through programs such as job training, workshops, counseling and other assistance, the residents are able to work toward a brighter future.
ESL TEACHER
Volunteer Responsibilities: Experience in teaching ESL and ability to work with people who have limited Basic English language skills. Volunteer must have strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a multicultural atmosphere.
Microsoft Office Suite proficiency required.
Dates/Times: 2 hours, twice weekly, evenings. Dates and time to be confirmed.
Minimum age: 18, Fingerprint/Background check required
DANCE INSTRUCTOR
Volunteer Responsibilities: Teach dance steps and routines to kids.
Dates/Times: 2hours, twice weekly, evenings. Days and time to be confirmed.

SAN ANTONIO PLACE– AFFORDABLE HOUSING COMPLEX

SPECIAL INTEREST VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Make a difference in the lives of Affordable Housing Residents. Share your passion by teaching – music, dance, yoga, arts and crafts, education, play the piano or other instrument. Provide entertainment.
Volunteer Responsibilities: Desired commit - one hour per week for minimum of four weeks.

Fingerprint/background check required for all volunteers over the age of 18.
