Who is eligible?
Low-income and middle-income residents of Santa Clara County.
How do I get immigration help?
We accept new cases only through our walk-in consultation process, which is on a first-come, first-served basis - sign-ups for consultations are accepted from 8 to 9 a.m. We offer consultations to the first six walk-in clients on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. Removal/deportation or complicated immigration consultations are offered on Thursday. We provide appointments for those who are not seen on our walk-in consultation days.
Are there any fees?
Regular consultations are $50 ($100 for removal/deportation or complicated cases), which must be paid in cash. Follow-up appointments and services are on a sliding scale based on family income and the number of family members.
What languages are spoken?
• Spanish • Vietnamese • Tagalog • Mandarin • Portuguese • Several eastern European and African languages
What volunteer opportunties are available?
Volunteer opportunities are available for attorneys, law students and persons with language-translation skills.
