After School Instructors - CORAL (PT- 19 hrs/week)

Job Code: 2006-080 Location: This is a 19 hour per week position M-F within the hours of 2:00-600 p.m. Thurs 12 - 6 p.m. General Function: Under the direct supervision of a Site Manager, the Job Responsibilities
include, but are not limited to: *Being an active participant and a positive role model to children *Implementation of thematic lessons plans and project based learning activities *Teach, direct and supervise approximately 20 school age children *Maintain daily attendance *Engage children in all program activities *Responsible for the health, safety and well being of the children at all times * Exhibit courteous and helpful behavior to children, staff,
parents/guardians, school personnel, agency representatives, and the general
public Qualifications: *Preferred experience working with children in a structured setting *Must have sensitivity to racially diverse communities, under performing schools and low socioeconomic areas *General knowledge of California State School Standards Education: *High School Diploma or equivalent General Education Certificate *Currently enrolled in college or equivalent work experience *48 college units or must be able to pass the equivalency test. *Valid CA driver’s license Requirements: *Must be willing to be fingerprinted and subject to a background check *Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. *Must acquire CPR and First Aid Training within 2 weeks of hire TO APPLY: Please submit resume to jobs@catholiccharitiesscc.org or via fax to 408-944-0276 (attn: HR Department.
