Poverty is an every day reality experienced by hundreds of thousands of Santa Clara County residents. Catholic Charities' Advocacy and Community Engagement addresses these needs by engaging those directly affected by poverty in changing the structures of economic and social disenfranchisement through public engagement by forming strategic partnerships with parishes, social action groups and community organizers.

Brings together adults and older adults with disabilities who share common interests and concerns. Meets twice a month for socialization, educational programs, and community outings.
Seeking to disrupt the cycle of poverty through the accompaniment of volunteers.
As a community volunteer, you can make a significant impact on improving life for many of your neighbors. We have a number of volunteer opportunities available. Depending on the program, you can choose to volunteer once or make an ongoing commitment.
